The Quality Control Manager reports to the Director of Quality.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure required information is included on work release statements i.e.: AD's, STC's, S/B's W & B, regulatory. This includes aircraft log book certification and component/ appliance certification.
  • Ensure project work packages are closed, copied and stored as per the appropriate manuals.
  • Ensure compliance to customer quality requirements.
  • Assist inspectors in making decisions on product quality issues.
  • Ensure the effective operation of corrective and preventive action systems.
  • Ensure that all reportable Service Difficulty Reports and Irregularities are completed and forwarded to Quality Assurance & SMS in a timely manner.
  • Handle the day-to-day activities of supervising Quality Control Inspectors.
  • Act as a liaison between Quality Control Inspectors and Managers.
  • Ensure regulatory training is in alignment with company policies and practices.
  • Chair weekly lead ACA meetings and ensure meetings minutes are correct.
  • Ensure there is a lead ACA assigned to each project ensuring they are qualified and trained to certify the aircraft release.
  • Schedule appropriate ACA requirements to effectively manage projects.
  • Ensure consistent communication with the Quality Control Inspectors.
  • Attend Production meetings as required.
  • Assist with the completion of process evaluations.
  • Complete release statements accurately. (Journey Logs, Task Logs, Component Changes)



  • Good knowledge of aviation regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
  • Possesses strong fundamental aircraft knowledge.
  • Demonstrated capability and competency in field of expertise.


Minimum 5 years' experience in the field.
