The Inventory Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Materials.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in oversight of physical inventory; identify descrepancies and ensure accuracy of inventory in terms of ;
    • Stock locations, cost, and quantities, and Count Programs.
    • Related processes, reports, record keeping and related accounting functions for reconciling.
  • Assist in oversight of data management of inventory visibility and accuracy within Tracking Database; (Quantum)
    • Help develop, monitor and maintain standards and process for parts flow with in Tracking Database.
    • Prepare report(s) and reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate costs of inventory after upload.
    • Assist in yearly depreciation and aprasials with reports and reconciling.
    • Prepare plan forĀ  the coordination handling of consigment inventories.
  • Assist in oversight of compliance with Company Manuals at all locations that hold inventory in terms of processes and performance on parts issues, deliveries, and Training
    • Help develop and maintain documented process and standards, training, and monitoring effectiveness.
    • Ensure the accuracy of paperwork and batch file systems through existing standards, while monitoring effectiveness, and maintaining documented process related to Quality Control in terms of inspection of parts, release of parts, Shelf life, Scrap and Returns Programs.
  • Provide Prompt and proper service to all concerned departments.
  • Assist and prepare when required in the management project budget and perform periodic cost and productivity analyses and schedule appropriate manpower requirements to effectively manage projects.
  • Participate in the establishment, organization, and implementation of short and long term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures when required.
  • Supervise inventory personel, prepare month end inventory related activities and processes both in and between departments.
  • Help implement and coordinate changes to Quantum including training and testing of updated software when required.
  • Other duties as assigned by direct report.
  • As the alternate to the Inventory Controller - Control of the Shelf Life Program.
  • As an alternate to the Inventory Controller - Control of the Scrap Program.


  • Minimum high school education (or equivalent). Supply Chain certification an asset.
  • Demonstrated capability in managing others, mentorship.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with predictive budgets.
  • Possesses fundamental aircraft and database knowledge.
  • Ability to motivate employees.
  • Continued business development.


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Aviation experience is considered an asset.
