The Junior Metrology Technician reports directly to the Metrology Supervisor.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities

  • Calibrate and repair mechanical and electrical measuring and testing equipment.
  • Use company tooling to calibrate and repair test and measuring equipment.
  • Use Quantum to prepare work reports and forms for customers.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve department goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 2-year diploma in a relevant field required.
  • In progress or have obtained the Certified Calibration Technician designation required.
  • Must have a strong background in electronics and familiarity with electronic test equipment. Prior hands-on mechanical experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals in a dynamic workplace.
  • Ability to acquire security clearance from Airport Authority required. Security clearance for government contracts may be required.


  • Minimum 3 year of experience working in a production environment.
  • Aviation experience is considered an asset.
